Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is part of the Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Accel Books platform.

1. Prohibited content and activity
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any law or regulation, including Irish, EU, UK and other applicable laws.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights of any person.
- Process special-category personal data (Art. 9 GDPR) without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, or to facilitate the same.
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware or any malicious code.
- Send spam or unsolicited communications in breach of ePrivacy / PECR rules.
- Engage in phishing, social engineering, identity theft or impersonation.
- Generate sexually explicit content involving minors or non-consensual content.
- Promote violence, terrorism, hate speech, harassment or discrimination.
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, billing controls or other technical restrictions.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service except as permitted by law.
- Use the Service to compete with us, benchmark for the purposes of a competing product, or copy material features.
- Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted in writing.
2. Security and integrity
You must not:
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent (responsible disclosure: security@accelbooks.io).
- Breach or attempt to breach authentication or access controls.
- Interfere with the operation of the Service, including DDoS, flooding or resource exhaustion.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems or data that do not belong to you.
3. AI features
When using AI-powered features you must not:
- Submit prompts designed to extract personal data of others or violate privacy.
- Use outputs to make solely automated decisions with legal effects on individuals without independent human review.
- Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, deceptive or in breach of this AUP.
4. Reporting abuse
Report violations to abuse@accelbooks.io. We cooperate with law enforcement in accordance with applicable law.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including warning, removing content, throttling, suspending or terminating accounts and notifying authorities. Where lawful and practicable, we will give notice; in urgent cases we may act first.
